13-Year-Old Dalit Girl Commits Suicide After Starving For Two Days In UP

While India is considered to be one of the biggest and rapidly rising country, there are still cases which would indicate that we are far from being developed. One such case is that of a 13-year-old Dalit girl, who reportedly committed suicide after starving for two-days in Nighasan area of Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri.

According to News 18, the State District Magistrate (SDM) has investigated and it was found that the family of the girl used to live in the outer area of Nighasan where families troubled by the erosion of land used to live.
