17,000 Cops, Women Force To Be Deployed Across Delhi & Gurugram To Guard New Year’s Eve Celebrations

In a bid to curb the menace on roads and keep public safety intact, around 15,000 police personnel will be deployed across the national capital to ensure that New Year’s celebrations go off smoothly.

“We have deployed around 15,000 police personnel across Delhi to maintain the law and order situation on the eve of New Year to ensure that the celebrations go smoothly,” Madhur Verma, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi), told PTI.
