She was in the early stages of a match against Rhea Ripley when she went for a dive. Upon impact, her left leg gave out. The match was stopped shortly thereafter and awarded to Ripley as medical officials came to Nox’s aid. The crowd was said to be silent as Nox was visibly in pain and crying.
Later during the tapings, Triple H came out and indicated that she suffered a broken leg.
Nox, who competed on the indie scene as Nixon Newell, had just signed a developmental deal with WWE when she tore her right ACL before the Mae Young Classic tapings last year, which she was scheduled to be a part of. She returned to the ring in April of this year and had been working NXT house shows before being announced as a competitor for this year’s tapings.
A transcript of President Donald Trump’s Tuesday night address about security along the U.S. southern border, as provided by the White House:
My fellow Americans: Tonight, I am speaking to you because there is a growing humanitarian and security crisis at our southern border.
Every day, Customs and Border Patrol agents encounter thousands of illegal immigrants trying to enter our country. We are out of space to hold them, and we have no way to promptly return them back home to their country.
America proudly welcomes millions of lawful immigrants who enrich our society and contribute to our nation. But all Americans are hurt by uncontrolled, illegal migration. It strains public resources and drives down jobs and wages. Among those hardest hit are African Americans and Hispanic Americans.
Our southern border is a pipeline for vast quantities of illegal drugs, including meth, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl. Every week, 300 of our citizens are killed by heroin alone, 90 percent of which floods across from our southern border. More Americans will die from drugs this year than were killed in the entire Vietnam War.
In the last two years, ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records, including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 violent killings. Over the years, thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country, and thousands more lives will be lost if we don’t act right now.
This is a humanitarian crisis – a crisis of the heart and a crisis of the soul.
Last month, 20,000 migrant children were illegally brought into the United States – a dramatic increase. These children are used as human pawns by vicious coyotes and ruthless gangs. One in three women are sexually assaulted on the dangerous trek up through Mexico. Women and children are the biggest victims, by far, of our broken system.
This is the tragic reality of illegal immigration on our southern border. This is the cycle of human suffering that I am determined to end.
My administration has presented Congress with a detailed proposal to secure the border and stop the criminal gangs, drug smugglers, and human traffickers. It’s a tremendous problem. Our proposal was developed by law enforcement professionals and border agents at the Department of Homeland Security. These are the resources they have requested to properly perform their mission and keep America safe. In fact, safer than ever before.
The proposal from Homeland Security includes cutting-edge technology for detecting drugs, weapons, illegal contraband, and many other things. We have requested more agents, immigration judges, and bed space to process the sharp rise in unlawful migration fueled by our very strong economy. Our plan also contains an urgent request for humanitarian assistance and medical support.
Furthermore, we have asked Congress to close border security loopholes so that illegal immigrant children can be safely and humanely returned back home.
Finally, as part of an overall approach to border security, law enforcement professionals have requested $5.7 billion for a physical barrier. At the request of Democrats, it will be a steel barrier rather than a concrete wall. This barrier is absolutely critical to border security. It’s also what our professionals at the border want and need. This is just common sense.
The border wall would very quickly pay for itself. The cost of illegal drugs exceeds $500 billion a year – vastly more than the $5.7 billion we have requested from Congress. The wall will also be paid for, indirectly, by the great new trade deal we have made with Mexico.
Sen. Chuck Schumer – who you will be hearing from later tonight – has repeatedly supported a physical barrier in the past, along with many other Democrats. They changed their mind only after I was elected President.
Democrats in Congress have refused to acknowledge the crisis. And they have refused to provide our brave border agents with the tools they desperately need to protect our families and our nation.
The federal government remains shut down for one reason and one reason only: because Democrats will not fund border security.
My administration is doing everything in our power to help those impacted by the situation. But the only solution is for Democrats to pass a spending bill that defends our borders and re-opens the government.
This situation could be solved in a 45-minute meeting. I have invited Congressional leadership to the White House tomorrow to get this done. Hopefully, we can rise above partisan politics in order to support national security.
Some have suggested a barrier is immoral. Then why do wealthy politicians build walls, fences, and gates around their homes? They don’t build walls because they hate the people on the outside, but because they love the people on the inside. The only thing that is immoral is the politicians to do nothing and continue to allow more innocent people to be so horribly victimized.
America’s heart broke the day after Christmas when a young police officer in California was savagely murdered in cold blood by an illegal alien, who just came across the border. The life of an American hero was stolen by someone who had no right to be in our country.
Day after day, precious lives are cut short by those who have violated our borders. In California, an Air Force veteran was raped, murdered, and beaten to death with a hammer by an illegal alien with a long criminal history. In Georgia, an illegal alien was recently charged with murder for killing, beheading, and dismembering his neighbor. In Maryland, MS-13 gang members who arrived in the United States as unaccompanied minors were arrested and charged last year after viciously stabbing and beating a 16-year-old girl.
Over the last several years, I’ve met with dozens of families whose loved ones were stolen by illegal immigration. I’ve held the hands of the weeping mothers and embraced the grief-stricken fathers. So sad. So terrible. I will never forget the pain in their eyes, the tremble in their voices, and the sadness gripping their souls.
How much more American blood must we shed before Congress does its job?
To those who refuse to compromise in the name of border security, I would ask: Imagine if it was your child, your husband, or your wife whose life was so cruelly shattered and totally broken?
To every member of Congress: Pass a bill that ends this crisis.
To every citizen: Call Congress and tell them to finally, after all of these decades, secure our border.
This is a choice between right and wrong, justice and injustice. This is about whether we fulfill our sacred duty to the American citizens we serve.
When I took the oath of office, I swore to protect our country. And that is what I will always do, so help me God.
On a noteworthy episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan turned heel and won the WWE Championship, Becky Lynch’s replacement for Survivor Series was announced, and WWE finished building to Sunday’s pay-per-view.
Bryan defeated AJ Styles in the main event to win the WWE title. Bryan moved out of the way when Styles was going for the Phenomenal Forearm, Styles accidentally bumped into the referee, Bryan kicked him low when the referee wasn’t looking, and then hit the running knee to win the championship. After the match, Bryan attacked Styles and stomped on his head.
Bryan will now face Universal Champion Brock Lesnar on Sunday.
With Becky Lynch off Survivor Series, her replacement was announced last night. Lynch picked her own replacement in storyline, with her choosing Charlotte Flair to face Ronda Rousey.
Jeff Hardy took Bryan’s spot on SmackDown’s Survivor Series men’s division team, and SAnitY, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, and The Colons joined The Usos and The New Day to round out the tag division team.

Zimbabwean security forces on Tuesday fired on hundreds of protesters who barricaded roads and burned tyres over fuel price rises of 150 per cent.
Protesters in the capital Harare and the second city of Bulawayo chanted slogans against President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who introduced the price rises on Sunday in the face of the country’s worst economic crisis in a decade.
At least 13 people were injured by gunfire and 12 were arrested in the protests, human rights lawyers and doctors said.
Opposition to the policy and deteriorating living conditions has galvanised the biggest protests since unrest over last year’s delayed presidential election, in which six people were killed.
In Harare, helicopters circled as protesters burned cars and blocked roads with boulders, street signs and burning tyres.
A tollgate on the major route from the city to the border town of Beitbridge, in South Africa was destroyed, leaving only a steel gantry.
Businesses closed early and commuters and schoolchildren struggled to get home as taxis stayed off the streets. Internal flights were cancelled and low-cost African airline Fastjet halted flights to and from the country.
Zimbabwe’s economy has struggled under cash shortages and an inability of the Mnangagwa government to bring back international investment since the end of Robert Mugabe’s 37-year-rule in November 2017.
The president defended the fuel price hikes on a trip to Moscow on Monday.
"Zimbabwe is going through both political and economic reforms and these do not come easily. It will take time for things to settle and results to be shown," he said.
But many protesters out on Zimbabwe’s streets on Monday directed their anger against the president, who came to power in a largely peaceful coup before winning a disputed election.
"He lied that our lives will improve, but things are getting worse by the day since he took over. Prices have been rising every day," said protester Judith Chamambo.
On Friday, Harare saw long queues for fuel at petrol stations and hundreds of cars were abandoned on the roadside after running out of petrol.
The protests have largely centred around the poorer parts of Harare, but one activist group said on Monday they would take the movement to the more affluent suburbs.
A nationwide experiment with basic income in Finland has not increased employment among those participating in the two-year trial, but their general well-being seems to have increased, a report said on Friday.
The Social Insurance Institution of Finland, or Kela, said "it was not yet possible to draw any firm conclusions" from the first half of the experiment, where about 2,000 randomly selected, unemployed people aged 25-58 got tax-free income of 560 euros ((£490) a month with no questions asked.
Finland is looking into ways to reshape its social security system and became in January 2017 the first European country to launch the trial, which will end in 2020.
Critics say universal basic income reduces incentives for people to look for work.
Proponents say it can empower people to start new businesses, knowing that they would continue to receive monthly income no matter how well their new venture does. It can also encourage people to try a new job without the fear of losing their unemployment checks or having to go through the paperwork of reapplying for benefits.
"Earlier, I didn’t accept all small jobs out of fear of losing my benefits and having to reapply for them," said writer Tuomas Muraja as he was on his way to a sauna before heading out for an evening at the opera.
"I feel much more secure now that short-term jobs no longer reduce my benefits or delay their payment."
In the Finnish experiment, the basic income is below what unemployment benefits pay, which is 32.40 euros a day, or almost 1,000 euros a month – subject to income tax of about 30 percent. The basic income is tax free, but barely enough to live on for someone paying rent, so it keeps pressure on the recipients to join the work force.
Minna Ylikanno, a researcher with Kela, said the basic income recipients appeared less stressed, healthier and more confident in the future than a 5,000-member control group of unemployment benefits recipients.
The report found that those on basic income and the unemployed people in the control group ended up working roughly the same number of days.
"The basic income may have a positive effect on the wellbeing of the recipient even though it does not in the short term improve the person’s employment prospects," Ms Ylikanno added.
The participants in both the trial and the control group were selected randomly among those who received unemployment benefits from Kela in November 2016 , Ms Ylikanno told The Associated Press.
The Nordic country’s official unemployment rate was 5.4 percent in 2018.
New No.1 contender for the RAW Women’s Championship Sasha Banks issued a little Twitter smacktalk to the champ Ronda Rousey on Friday ahead of their match coming up at the Royal Rumble on January 27th at Chase Bank Field in Phoenix.
Banks, who earned a shot at the title by defeating Nia Jax on RAW, slammed Rousey for not making the rounds on the road at house shows like she does. Here’s a look at Banks’ tweet, which also takes a shot at Universal Champion Brock Lesnar:
And good morning to all the future towns I’ll be making. Soon enough you’ll have a champion that will actually come to a town near you.
Hi @brocklesnar
Hi @rondarousey #ShowUpShowOut #LegitBoss #MakingTowns #EveryWeek #EveryYear #PissedOffForGreatness
— $asha Banks (@SashaBanksWWE) January 11, 2019
Wrestling Observer reported Thursday that Banks was used as a replacement opponent for Rousey with the initial plan for The Rowdy One to have a match with Charlotte Flair. However, it now looks like Rousey will take on Flair and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, according to reports from the Wrestling Observer.
