Donald Trump warned Iran it was risking “obliteration” if it provoked a war with the United States, but insisted he was not seeking conflict and was willing to talk.

“I’m not looking for war and if there is, it’ll be obliteration like you’ve never seen before,” he said, speaking on a Sunday political chat show.

“But I’m not looking to do that. But you can’t have a nuclear weapon. You want to talk? Good. Otherwise you can have a bad economy for the next three years.”

Mr Trump’s comments came as the US was reported to have launched a cyber-attack on Iranian weapons systems.

The cyber-attack, carried out on Thursday, disabled computer systems controlling rocket and missile launchers and was launched in retaliation for the shooting down of a US drone that same day, as well as attacks on oil tankers that the US has blamed Iran for.

Debris from a downed US drone recovered inside Iran's territorial waters, displayed by the Revolutionary Guard in Tehran on June 21

On Saturday the US department for homeland security warned that Iran was stepping up its own cyber-attacks on the US.

On Monday the US is expected to detail new sanctions placed on Iran. Mr Trump, who called off a retaliatory military strike against Iran after the downing of the drone, described them as “major”.

He said he decided against a military strike because the potential cost of human lives was “not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone.”

Mr Trump, who spent Saturday huddling with his advisers, initially said he was keen to be Iran’s "best friend" – if the country agreed to renounce nuclear weapons.

"When they agree to that, they’re going to have a wealthy country. They’re going to be so happy, and I’m going to be their best friend," he said.

His national security advisor, John Bolton, was on Sunday in Israel to meet Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, and said Iran should not "mistake US prudence and discretion for weakness".

“No one has granted them a hunting licence in the Middle East," he added.

In Kuwait, the US special representative for Iran, Brian Hook, urged "all nations to use their diplomatic effort to urge Iran to de-escalate and meet diplomacy with diplomacy".

Jeremy Hunt, the Foreign Secretary, on Sunday insisted he is doing what he can amid the heightened tensions.

Mr Hunt was warned by a previous foreign secretary, David Miliband, that he cannot be "completely absent from the stage", describing the situation as a "pressing global threat to peace and security".

Mr Hunt, who is battling to become the next prime minister, said he was speaking to counterparts "regularly" about the Iran crisis which he called "extremely serious".

The foreign secretary said on Sunday that Britain would consider joining a US military assault on Iran, saying requests are considered "on a case-by-case" basis".

"We will stand by the United States as our strongest ally but of course we have to consider any requests for military support on a case-by-case basis," he said while campaigning in Scotland, according to the Daily Mail.

"We do strongly believe that the solution is for Iran to stop its destabilising activity throughout the Middle East and we are very concerned about the sabotaging of tankers that has happened recently, which is almost certainly Iran, and we’re constantly in touch with the United States.

"We want to de-escalate the situation but we are of course extremely worried."

Andrew Murrison, the Middle East minister in the Foreign Office, on Sunday held talks with the Tehran government.

"At this time of increased regional tensions and at a crucial period for the future of the nuclear deal, this visit is an opportunity for further open, frank and constructive engagement with the government of Iran,” the Foreign Office said.

"Dr Murrison will call for urgent de-escalation in the region and raise UK and international concerns about Iran’s regional conduct and its threat to cease complying with the nuclear deal to which the UK remains fully committed."

A woman walks past a mural painting showing the founder of the Islamic republic Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and the national flag along the wall of the former US embassy in the Iranian capital Tehran

Yet Iran’s head of the strategic council of foreign relations within their foreign ministry, Kamal Kharazi, dismissed Mr Murrison’s efforts as the "usual talking points" and said it was “repetitive”.

Mr Murrison, Mr Kharazi said, told the Iranian delegation that a European payment mechanism to help Iran with US sanctions "will soon become operational, that Britain has always supported the (nuclear deal) and has its own problems with America. Such talks that have always been repetitive.”

On June 28 the remaining signatories to the landmark 2015 Iran nuclear deal will meet in Vienna, in an effort to save the accord.

Iran last month said it would reduce compliance with the terms of the deal in protest against the US withdrawal from the agreement.

This week, Tehran announced it was starting a 10-day countdown to surpass the deal’s limit on its enriched-uranium stockpile, saying it would exceed the 300-kilogram restriction by June 27.

Iran said on Sunday a "spy drone" had encroached its airspace in May – about a month before it downed the American drone.

An oil tanker is seen after it was attacked at the Gulf of Oman, in waters between Gulf Arab states and Iran, on June 13

Mohammad Javad Zarif, the foreign minister, tweeted a map saying the US-made MQ9 Reaper drone – also widely used for carrying out military strikes – had entered his country’s airspace on May 26.

Iran, in response to the increase in tensions, has warned that any aggression from the US will cause the region to implode.

"Firing one bullet towards Iran will set fire to the interests of America and its allies" said Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for the armed forces general staff.

"If the enemy – especially America and its allies in the region – make the military mistake of shooting the powder keg on which America’s interests lie, the region will be set on fire."

NEW YORK — David H. Koch, the multibillionaire businessman, philanthropist and conservative donor, has died at 79. Koch Industries, the massive corporation he owned with his brother, Charles, confirmed his death Friday, saying it followed a yearslong battle with various illnesses.

“It is with a heavy heart that I now must inform you of David’s death,” Charles Koch said, according to the Associated Press.

With a net worth of $50.5 billion, David Koch was one of New York City’s wealthiest residents and a major donor to many prominent local institutions. His name is emblazoned on a theater at Lincoln Center and a plaza outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He reportedly owned a mansion on the Upper East Side for which he paid about $40 million last year.

Koch, along with his brother, was a driving force of Koch Industries, the United States’s second-largest privately held corporation. With revenues of $110 billion, the Kansas-based conglomerate has a large portfolio that includes oil, fertilizer, toilet paper and paper cups.

The Koch brothers —who tied at No. 11 this year on Forbes’s list of the richest people in the world — also formed one of the most powerful partnerships in American politics.

David Koch was the Libertarian Party’s candidate for vice president in 1980 and along with Charles founded Americans for Prosperity, a political nonprofit that supported small-government candidates and policies.

Americans for Prosperity was credited with helping Republicans take control of Congress under President Barack Obama and turning the right-wing Tea Party movement into a blistering force that reshaped the GOP.

ATLANTA — Entertainment magnate Tyler Perry is vowing to help rebuild the Bahamas, which bore Hurricane Dorian’s deadly brunt over the last several days. Dorian began lashing the Florida coast with winds Tuesday, leaving catastrophic damage as it slowly crawled toward the U.S. Eastern Seaboard downgraded to a Hurricane 2 storm but still packing winds in excess of 100 MPH.

The storm has killed at least five people in the Bahamas and caused widespread destruction on the islands as it slowly but forcefully churned toward the Southeast United States, where mandatory evacuations were ordered in several areas in advance of one of the Atlantic’s most powerful storms on record.

Forecasters said the hurricane would move “dangerously close” to the Florida coast Tuesday and continuing through Wednesday evening. Georgia and South Carolina coasts are next in its current path, beginning late on Wednesday. By the end of the week, Dorian is expected to be shadowing the coasts of North Carolina and Virginia.

“To all the incredible people of the Bahamas who have welcomed me and called me an adoptive son, I want you to know that I am watching closely, and as soon as I can, I will be there to do whatever I can to help you rebuild stronger and better,” Perry said in a Facebook post. “You’re not only in my heart and my prayers, you’re in my blood. God bless you. Stay Bahamas strong. The sun will shine again.”

Just last week, Perry posted a moving social media message, recalling his early days in Atlanta when he was homeless and broke. “I came here with nothing, lived off Sylvan Road, ended up homeless and starving, but I was always praying and believing,” he wrote. “I was always keeping the faith, knowing that if I worked hard, did my absolute best, kept my integrity, honored every blessing, and remained grateful through it all that everything would work out.”

Today, Perry’s film and television production company is poised to become one of the world’s largest.

Videos showed floodwaters just below battered rooftops in the Abaco Islands, in the northern Bahamas, and emergency responders said thousands of homes were damaged or destroyed. The storm all but stalled over Grand Bahama, where heavy flooding was also forecast.

Batista’s return to WWE on last Monday’s RAW has been a big hit on YouTube. The video below featuring his return is currently at 7.3 million views. It is the most viewed clip from a current WWE television show since last November.

On RAW, Batista returned to the company after a near four-year hiatus and attacked Ric Flair during the closing moments of the show while calling out Triple H. While it has not been officially announced, Batista is expected to face Triple H at WrestleMania 35.

Batista had stated in previous interviews that he would only return to the company to work a program with Triple H. On Chris Jericho’s Podcast in 2017, Batista revealed that he had talked to WWE several times about a return, but they were apparently not interested, as seen below:
“I’ve asked [to come back],” Batista told Jericho. “I’ve asked. I’ve asked for what I want. I’ll tell [Jericho] and I’ve talked to Hunter about it and I’ve talked to Vince about it. I said I would come back and run a whole program with Hunter. That’s the only thing I’m interested in and they’re just not interested in it.
“I guess [WWE is] not [interested]. And I’ve run it by them a few different times. They just say, ‘meh, we’ll think about it.’ Vince, every time I ask him, ‘meh, I’ll think about it.’
“I’ve asked, but now it’s at a point where I’m tired of asking.” Batista continued, “the last time I talked to Vince about it was a while ago and I said, ‘if we say we’re going to do it, I can put it in my calendar’ but now my calendar fills up pretty [quickly]. Like, I’m already booked up for the next year and a half, so my window is getting [smaller]. I’m not getting any younger. But see, I don’t know if it’ll ever happen. That’d be the way I want to go out.”

Batista will be returning to RAW this Monday.

According to a report from Rajah, a source within WWE claims that SmackDown may be in for some changes when the brand moves to the Fox Network in October.
The biggest speculated change being that box has reportedly looking for a more edgier product and not looking to “give into the PC culture that dominates current WWE programming.”
Another reported desire from Fox is the move from a three-man booth to a more traditional two-man booth as it pertains to the commentary format.
