– WWE announced the following today, confirming the Total Bellas reality show and cast changes to season 6 of Total Divas:
‘Total Bellas’ coming to E!, new ‘Total Divas’ cast announced
LOS ANGELES – E! has announced the new series “Total Bellas” with Nikki and Brie Bella, a spinoff of the network’s hit series “Total Divas.” The six, one-hour episodes will give viewers exclusive access into the lives of The Bella Twins and their significant others, John Cena and Daniel Bryan, as the WWE Superstars move in together and enter a new chapter of their lives, both professionally and personally.
After Nikki goes through delicate surgery on her neck and spine, her sister and brother-in-law move into the house she shares with Cena in order to care for her and keep her company during her long and protracted recovery. The Bella Twins will continue to appear on “Total Divas,” which concludes its fifth season tomorrow night at 9 p.m. ET.
“We are excited to build on one of our most successful franchises with this new series that goes exclusively inside the world of WWE fan favorites The Bella Twins,” said Jeff Olde, EVP, Programming and Development, E! “Nikki and Brie Bella have an undeniable charm and wit that matches their irrefutable beauty, and we are thrilled to get an intimate look into what it’s like to be in a relationship with some of the hottest sports entertainers in the world.”
Additionally, E!, WWE and Bunim-Murray Productions’ hit series “Total Divas” will return for its sixth season this fall. Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Eva Marie, Naomi, Natalya and Paige will continue to give viewers an inside glimpse at balancing life in the spotlight and the non-stop action of their professional careers with the drama of their everyday lives.
In addition, Season 6 will introduce “Total Divas” fans to Lana, Renee Young, and Maryse, a former two-time WWE Divas Champion and wife of Mike “The Miz” Mizanin.

– WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart recently spoke with The Portsmouth News to promote this weekend’s one-man shows in the UK. The full interview and event details are at this link. Below are highlights:
His prostate cancer battle:
“It’s never an easy thing to go through, but I had a lot of support and a lot of great fans and other wrestlers who reached out, that all sort of helped me get through it. I’ve got to have regular check-ups for the next few years, but I think I’m through the worst now. They think they got it all in one shot, so I’m just on to a slow recovery and hopefully in the next few months I’ll be back to normal and getting my life back on track.
I was lucky I had one of those cancers that they say if you get it early and you’re on it quick you can have a full recovery. It’s a 96 per cent recovery rate for prostate cancer. My diagnosis was early and I did a lot to make sure I was on top of it.”
Today’s wrestling vs. his era:
“I think that the wrestlers today are very skilled and a lot of them are really great, gifted wrestlers, like Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and even Kevin Owens. I tip my hat to them. I enjoy watching them, they’re special talents and they carry that torch to the next generation. There’s a lot of those wrestlers who’ve had a big impact since I left. I’d like to have worked with CM Punk or Brock Lesnar, but I find that there’s something missing in wrestling that was more prevalent in my era. I think the actual storytelling was better.
I could allow a story to unfold or not be rushed. ‘There’s no drama any more, it’s just like bing, bing, bing, bing. They’re too busy setting up the next moves and it seems very rehearsed like the whole match is rehearsed. I miss the natural flow in my matches. I watched a lot of my old matches from the ’90s and I like the storytelling better, but that’s just my preference. Fans now like that it’s more fast-paced and there’s not really any pause to tell a story.”
People saying wrestling is fake:
“I think people who say that are kind out of touch with reality. The least-best word to describe wrestling is fake. There’s a lot of injuries and it’s high impact. I never thought of, and I still don’t think, of any of my matches as fake. The terminology is degrading.
I think fans understand that there’s a storyline process. As an example, you look at my match with Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13, there was a lot of blood and (Bret’s trademark move) the sharpshooter, he didn’t tap-out and all that. It was a very violent struggle and it tells the story of a good guy and a bad guy, but it tells this beautiful struggle of a battle of two people fighting for everything they believe in, and it’s a very magical thing that you can have that kind of match and that kind of performance.”

Daniel Ricciardo says the impressive qualifying pace displayed by his Renault last weekend at Silverstone is not a “freak one off”, although the Aussie admits that securing another spot among the top five in Spain “could be a stretch”.
Ricciardo lined up fifth on the grid of last Sunday’s 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, an achievement that the Renault driver insists was no fluke for the French outfit’s improving R.S.20.
“It is not a freak one off – it is there, or at least I feel it is,” Ricciardo said on Thursday in Barcelona..
“Is it going to be there every weekend? Maybe a top five could be a stretch, but I think we proved that we are a Q3 car.
“I think the only way we miss out on Q3 is if we make a mistake on our lap perhaps. But I think typically if everything is running smooth then we should be there.
“We will see what happens here, but I am excited to get some more good qualifying sessions and then convert them to a good race.”
Like the majority of the field, Ricciardo opted on race day for a two-stop strategy, but despite his advantageous starting position, tyre wear and a costly spin during a wheel-to-wheel battle with McLaren’s Carlos Sainz, left the Honey Badger a lowly P14 at the end of the day.

“Typically we’ve been fast on Sundays, so it was like if we can sort qualifying and put ourselves towards the front, then we should have a strong race,” Ricciardo explained.
“We went for the two stop which did not work. It was just so sensitive with the tyres with the temperature, and we overcooked it with the second set.
“And then we were on the back foot, and I had a spin and it was just one of those races where I didn’t really get going.
“If we could do it all over again, we extend that first stint, and one stop. But we didn’t, so that is where we ended.
“I’m not very happy with the result! It is a bit of a shame because the Saturday went so well.”

– It looks like new Camp WWE episodes will premiere each Sunday night in the on-demand section of the WWE Network. As of this writing, only the first episode is available. Here’s the synopsis for the second episode:

– As previously mentioned, the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series has been re-named to the Cruiserweight Classic. Apparently other changes are being discussed for the 32-man tournament that kicks off this summer. F4Wonline.com reports that there may be changes to come for the tapings schedule. The tapings have been announced for the week of June 20th at Full Sail University, apparently over a few days. We noted this past week that there was talk of having some of the matches take place with WWE NXT TV matches.
– Santino Marella tweeted the following on his WWE release, which was announced today along with Zeb Colter, Alex Riley, Cameron, Hornswoggle, El Torito, King Barrett and Damien Sandow.

Adam Rose was released from the Hillsborough County, Florida jail at 4:10pm EST today.
He was issued a bond earlier today of $1,000 – which breaks down to $500 for the misdemeanor domestic battery and $500 for the felony tampering with a witness.
Rose has to be back in court next month to face the charges but has been ordered to see his pastor for regular counseling until then.

This is up from last week’s 311,000 viewers, the previous week’s 280,000 viewers and the 303,000 from the week before that. This is also a new record since the show has been on POP.
