WWE taped its latest episode of WWE Main Event prior to last night’s WWE Raw event in Montreal, Canada and featured two top tag teams in action.

Former NXT Tag Team Champions, The Revival were in action on this week’s Main Event, as well as several members of the WWE 205 Live roster. Below are the results of the taping:

On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live, host Bryan Alvarez was asked if John Cena is still WWE’s top merchandise seller, and Alvarez confirmed Cena still sits atop the merchandise movers in WWE. Alvarez then added Roman Reigns is also near the top of the list in terms of merchandise sellers, despite the live crowd reaction Reigns draws at WWE events.

Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw will see the fallout from last night’s WWE Backlash take place as well as the start of WWE’s build to Money in the Bank.

So far, no matches have been announced for the show tonight, but WWE is hyping the fact some male and female wrestlers will qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match, so expect some qualifying matches throughout the show.

Despite the resoundingly negative fan reaction to Roman Reigns at WWE live event, the WWE Universe seems to agree that The Big Dog is the uncrowned WWE Universal Champion following his controversial loss to Brock Lesnar at Greatest Royal Rumble.

WWE.com has issued a new poll asking fans if Reigns is the uncrowned Champion, and 54% of fans have voted “Yes.” You can check out current poll results at this link.

CM Punk has been generating criticism from those who feel his sophomore MMA fight against Mike Jackson does not belong on the main UFC 225 card, while fighters like Alistair Overeem and Rashad Evans are competing on the event prelims.

UFC President Dana White defended the decision to place Punk on the main card during the UFC Liverpool post-fight press conference over the weekend. White simply feels Punk is a bigger draw than guys like Overeem, which is why he is on the main card.
