For the fifth time in just six years, Roman Reigns wants to headline WrestleMania.

WWE recently announced that their annual April classic will be expanding to a two-night event on April 4th and 5th, hosted by three-time NFL Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski. A list of which matches will take place on which nights has also been released.

Reigns wrote, “Two nights of WrestleMania. WWE’s biggest event just got BIGGER. One of those nights belongs to the Big Dog. Who will claim the other? Guess we’ll see. #MainEvent”.

Edge is certainly no stranger to headlining the Showcase of the Immortals over the course of his legendary career. The Rated-R Superstar fired back, “Aw that’s cute Big Pup. But whether you realize it or not, if Randy Orton has the nads to accept my challenge for WrestleMania we’ve already marked our territory on what the real main event is. After 9 years the wolf is back in the yard.”

The Rated-R Superstar also capped his tweet off with the hashtags “LastManStanding” and “MainMainEvent”. It’s expected that Orton will accept Edge’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania next week, as he is advertised to appear live on Monday Night Raw.

HERE COMES THE MONEY! Out comes Shane McMahon to a series of boos from the crowd! The best in the world trophy is in the center of the ring. The crowd chants “You Suck” and Shane refuses to talk. Shane calls over the ring announcer and tells him to reannounce him as “The Best In The World.” Shane says people keep asking him why he beat down The Miz. But people keep also asking him how he can help them to help them get ahead in life. It’s been happening all his life. The people don’t know what he does for them behind the scenes. That all stopped Sunday when he beat the holy hell out of Miz.

He says he is not the best in the world because he won a trophy. He is not the best in the world because he was a tag team champion. He is the best in the world because he was BORN that way. He says he was happy that the last thing The Miz saw was his father when he choked him out, and it sent out a spark in him that will never go away. But he tells the Miz that he had such a good time beating the Miz’s ass, that he is going to continue to do it at the Grandest Stage of them All….WrestleMania. And it is going to feel…….AWWEEEEEESSOOOOOMMEEEE.

ALEISTER BLACK, RICOCHET, & THE HARDY BOYZ vs RUSEV, SHINSUKE NAKAMURA & THE BAR

Aleister Black starts the match with Nakamura and quickly tags in Richochet. The two get some double team action and floor Nakamura. Matt Hardy is tagged in and Sheamus is tagged in as well. Matt looks like early 2000s Matt in Camo, and takes down Sheamus. Matt tags in Jeff, and the two do their tandem leg drops.

Sheamus is able to tag in Rusev, who take it to Jeff Hardy and stomps away on him . He tosses him in to his corner and the four men start to punish Jeff Hardy with frequent tags and stomps, similar to the Unicorn Stampede by The New Day. Hardy breaks free and drop kicks Rusev, then tags in Ricochet.

Ricochet comes in and dropkicks Rusev, then hits a head scissors. Ricochet gets on the apron, and Shinsuke distracts, and is met with a kick from Ricochet. Ricochet goes for a springboard something, but Rusev counters with a big fist, sending Ricochet crashing to the floor.

Back in the ring, Cesaro is in, who goes to take out Aleister Black, but then turns around to a kick from RIcochet. Ricochet tags in Matt Hardy, who goes crazy on everyone. The match breaks down and Jeff Hardy is tagged in. Hardy comes in and hits a Swanton on Cesaro and goes for a cover but everyone breaks it up! The ring explodes in chaos AGAIN and everyone is going at it, the referee cannot get control!

OUT OF NOWHERE, HERE IS THE NEW DAY! Kofi, Big E, and Xavier Woods make their way to the ring and take out everyone, causing the disqualification! The crowd is going insane for these three as they take out specifically Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, & The Bar. Kofi hits Trouble In Paradise on Rusev and The New Day stands tall!

Once again, we had the pleasure of attending an AAW Pro show in Chicago, Illinois at the Logan Square auditorium and once again, AAW delivered. They did that in spite of talent dropping out and last minute changes, and they solidified not one, but TWO new stars, while potentially saying goodbye to one in the process. The crowd was hot throughout, and showed why AAW has sold out now 4 times in a row.

FIGHT FOR THE FUTURE MATCHES

Overall some good matches here, with the three standouts being Sierra, Laynie Luck, and Pat Monix. Sierra made it a point to antagonize the crowd, really playing it up as a heel, and Monix had a great new entrance and showed he had some fire. I hope that these three make it back for more Fight For The Future matches as some of the successful bunch.

ACE AUSTIN (w/ CLAYTON GAINZ) vs. HAKIM ZANE vs. JOEY LYNCH vs. GRINGO LOCO

We have see Austin before as he was impressive as usual, and Hakim Zane is a carry over from the LaSalle shows, and showed his uncanny speed. The surprise here was the relatively unknown to Chicago guy, Joey Lynch, who pulled off impressive moonsaults, power moves, and taking everything like a champ. He had great energy and we could tell he was putting it all out there.

Ace Austin ended up being victorious, but it didn’t end there. Austin bragged about being the best and people knowing him, but having an impressive friend that people don’t know, and that’s Clayton Gainz. Gainz gets on the mic and asks who is ready for Gainz.

OUT COMES ARMANDO ALEJANDRO ESTRADA!!! The manager of monsters comes out, and says that he got a phone call saying that they needed someone to control a new guy in AAW, and he’s a guy with immense talent and only he could control him. He said all they needed to do was send him a check. He introduces his new monster…………….FATU!!!

FATU vs. CLAYTON GAINZ

Fatu pretty much owns Gainz. My only problem is that Fatu should have won in easier fashion. Otherwise, don’t be surprised if Fatu is AAW Champion by the end of the year. This guy can go, is impressive, huge, and entertaining. With Armando Alejandro Estrada by his side, they create the complete package. Welcome to AAW Fatu.

Fatu is back! Fatu gets in the face of KimberLee and she does not back down. He picks her up for a Samoan Drop but is saved by PACO. Paco gets superkicked and crushed for his troubles, as does Webb. The Riegal twins try to come in, but they get double Samoan dropped. Next up is the big man Larry D. Fatu stops in his tracks and they circle the ring. They start to exchange right hands before FATU finally gets the advantage with a superkick. Fatu hits a BIG moonsault before leaving the ring with Estrada.

WWE has continued to build hype around WWE WrestleMania 35 by posting an old match from the event between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins.

The match, from WWE WrestleMania 31 includes one of the best RKO’s of all time as Orton reverse The Stomp into his finishing move. You can see the full match below:

Oney Lorcan has officially joined the WWE 205 Live roster.

205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick made the announcement on Tuesday night after Lorcan made a surprise appearance on the show, attacking Cedric Alexander in the middle of his match.

At this point it’s unknown whether or not the hard-hitting superstar will also continue to work for the NXT or NXT UK brands, where he frequently tag teams with the equally hard-hitting Danny Burch. Lorcan recently competed in a tournament to find the #1 contender to the Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania.
