Stephen Amell Joins Bullet Club at ROH Show, Releases New Shirt

Ring of Honor will be holding an event this evening in San Antonio, competing directly with WWE’s NXT show featuring Adam Cole challenging Drew McIntyre for the NXT Championship with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee.

At ROH’s show, entitled Survival of the Fittest (night 1), it was previously reported that the star of the popular CW show Arrow, Stephen Amell, would be “Invading” the show and making an appearance. Amell, who stars as the titular character The Green Arrow aka Oliver Queen, has previous history with the current Ring of Honor Champion Cody Rhodes and has even appeared in a matchup along with Neville, against Rhodes (who was then the character Stardust) & King Barrett at SummerSlam in 2015. Rhodes has subsequently appeared on the 5th season of Arrow on numerous episodes as one of the show’s villain who gained super powers to not feel any pain and also developed super strength.

Ahead of the show this evening, Amell has posted a picture on his Twitter account with the caption “Welcome to the Club”, posing along with The Young Bucks & Cody Rhodes. What Amell’s role at the show will be has yet to be noted, but this is a great way to increase notoriety to compete with the big NXT show.

The picture shows Amell wearing a T-Shirt that has since been released on the popular website ProWrestlingTees.com, and is a combination of his character, The Green Arrow and the always popular Bullet Club logo, with a “Vigilante Club” on the front. Pro Wrestling Tees also announced today a special Black Friday deal on their site with a 20% off deal beginning next week.
