Katharine McPhee Shows Off Her Bikini Bod While Splashing Around in Miami

She may have been the runner-up on season five of American Idol, but Katharine McPhee will always be number one in our eyes—and in the eyes of anyone who caught a glimpse of the singer and actress taking a dip in the Miami ocean this past Sunday.

McPhee turned heads in a teeny black-and-white patterned two-piece from ACACIA Swimwear, with sexy cutouts in the halter straps and on the sides of the bikini bottom. She wore her hair in a low ponytail and donned a pair of trendy round red-tinted sunglasses.

The 32-year old Smash star has clearly been hitting the gym, as she displayed some serious abs and toned legs, looking happy and relaxed splashing around in the ocean. She spent her beach day with a friend, who snapped an amazing photo of McPhee’s rockin’ bod, but (accidentally) put his thumb over the star’s face. McPhee posted the photo to Instagram anyway, with the tongue-in-cheek caption, “Photo fail… good one Munge!”

The actress and singer clearly had fun on her Miami vacation and wasn’t afraid to splurge, posting a delicious-looking photo of a basket of sugared donuts, captioning the shot, “My favorite things… I [love] #donuts.” Same, Katharine, same.
