Here’s How Five ISRO Satellites Playing Key Role In Saving Several Lives In Flood-Hit Kerala

Five Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) satellites have come to the rescue of flood hit Kerala state. While over 370 people have died in these floods, thousands are left stranded, waiting to be rescued.
ISRO earth-based satellites are monitoring the flood situation and are assisting in relief work. Oceansat-2, Resourcesat-2, Cartosat-2 and 2A and INSAT 3DR send real time images to the ground station which helps in monitoring the flood situation and planning of required rescue operations, reported TOI.
“We are using the data from these satellites to provide alerts on flooding, areas of inundation during and after rain, and weather forecasts,” an official said.Click Here: st kilda saints guernsey 2019
