Odisha Teacher Demands 1001 Sapling As Dowry, Makes Sure There’s No Noise Pollution At Wedding

Setting an example, a school teacher in Odisha took 1001 sapling in dowry and distributed it among people as a symbol to fight the pollution. 33-year-old Sarojkanta Biswal is from coastal Kendrapara district. He made the unusual demand of 1001 saplings to help reducing pollution.

Biswal teaches science at Jagannath Vidyapith in Choudakulata village in Kendrapara surprised his in-laws by declining dowry for marrying Rashmirekha Paital, who is also a school teacher.
