Haryana’s Love For Cows: ‘Gau Seva Panel’ Has 16 Members, While Human Rights Body Has None

No matter how many human rights violations reported in Haryana, the state government seems to have set its priority, which is, to keep the cows safe first. All this becomes clear when the facts on the ground are seen. Haryana Human Rights Commission (HHR ) has no members while the ‘Gau Sewa Panel’ has 16 members.

HHRC was constituted by Congress government five years ago and now under BJP rule the post of HHRC’s chairperson has been lying vacant for 19 months, where the post of members, have also not been filled for last five months.
