The forest is the temple of life. It has ancient secrets. Only when you enter a forest, stepping out of your human ego, does the forest begin to reveal itself.

When you surrender yourself to her like a creature of nature, the elusive spirits of the forest start showing themselves. And there is no force of nature that is more elusive and secretive than the tiger.I started tracking big-cats since my early teens in the mysterious jungles of Ranthambore National Park under the guidance of the dedicated tiger expert Dr. G V Reddy. Eversince I have been posted in different national parks of the subcontinent for tracking and counting tigers.

Just a week back, I was posted in the dense deciduous forests of central India for the ‘ALL INDIA TIGER ESTIMATION 2018’. This activity happens every four years to statistically estimate the actual numbers of free ranging wild tigers still roaming this ancient land.
