Minnesota State University Moorhead athletics has announced the 2016 inductees to the Dragon Sports Hall of Fame. The class will be inducted on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom on the MSUM campus.

Eleven individuals, including Frazee’s Travis Nagel, and one team will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Dragon women’s swimming and diving will also be recognized as part of the event. It is the 20th anniversary of the start of the program at MSUM under Head Coach Todd Peters, who is the only coach the program has ever known.

Nagel was a two-time All-American and two-time Midwest Region Champion He placed fifth in the nation in 2000 and sixth in 2001 and was a four-time NCAA national qualifier, three-time NSIC Champion, two-time NSIC Wrestler of the Year and was named the 2001 Midwest Region Outstanding Wrestler, the 2000 National Duals Outstanding Wrestler, the 1998 Midwest Region Freshman of the Year and finished with career record of 83-33.
