WWE 205 Live Preview, Oct. 24, 2018: A Blockbuster 100th Episode

WWE 205 Live celebrates 100 episodes as Mustafa Ali & Hideo Itami collide in a No Disqualification Match that is sure to push both competitors to their physical and mental limits. Plus, Mike Kanellis makes his in-ring Cruiserweight division debut against Lince Dorado.
Mike Kanellis Makes His Cruiserweight Debut:
Two weeks ago, The WWE Universe was stunned when Mike Kanellis attacked Lince Dorado during The Golden Lynx’s battle with Lio Rush. Although The Man Of The Hour escaped unscathed, Kanellis unloaded on The Luchador, much to the delight of his wife, Maria. After the attack, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick expressed his discontent with Kanellis, explaining that the incident was not how they agreed Mike would make his debut.

Regardless of what Maverick wanted, Kanellis certainly made waves. When the couple addressed the attack last week, Kanellis regarded the attack as just “business,” and Maria referred to her husband as “the opportunist” by taking advantage of his invitation to join The Cruiserweight Division. The self-proclaimed Power Couple of WWE 205 Live made their WWE Cruiserweight Championship ambitions clear, but first Kanellis has to face Lince Dorado tonight!
Mustafa Ali & Hideo Itami Ready To Push Each Other To The Brink:
When Hideo Itami & Mustafa Ali first squared off in August, Itami took advantage of his opponent’s physical exhaustion and decimated him, forcing WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick to sideline The Heart Of WWE 205 Live to give him time to recover. A few weeks later, a rejuvenated Ali returned and was ready to throw down with his Japanese nemesis.
The second battle between the two Superstars came last month, and there was certainly no love lost between them. The resilience of each competitor – as well as the unfiltered animosity between the two — was on full display during the back-and-forth brawl. The battle ended after Ali executed a 450 splash onto Itami on the ring apron, and neither Superstar could answer the referee’s 10-count.

Tonight, Ali and Itami will clash once again, this time in a No Disqualification Match. While Itami takes pleasure in causing pain and suffering, Ali’s pride fuels his fighting spirit, and he’s prepared to walk down this uncharted road against the hard-hitting Japanese Superstar.
