United States title match set for next week's WWE Raw

Apollo Crews will get another shot at Andrade.

It was announced on Raw tonight that Apollo Crews will face Andrade for the WWE United States title. Crews returned to television tonight, attacking Andrade during a Kevin Owens Show segment. That eventually led to a tag team match, pitting Crews and Kevin Owens against Andrade and Angel Garza, with Crews scoring the victory for his team.

Backstage, Crews told Charly Caruso that he will challenge Andrade again for the United States title next week. Zelina Vega appeared and told Apollo to walk away with the one good knee he had. Crews said he’d become the new United States champion next week.

Crews was written off TV for several weeks following an in-storyline injury suffered at the end of a United States match against Andrade. The injury was severe enough that the match had to be stopped.

As a result of the injury, Crews had to forfeit his spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. He would later be replaced by AJ Styles.
