In the latest development as a result of the #SpeakingOut movement, Impact Wrestling announced Monday night that Joey Ryan and Dave Crist are no longer with the company while Michael Elgin has been suspended.

Impact released the following statement to the Observer:

“Impact Wrestling confirms that it has terminated its contracts with Dave Crist and Joey Ryan, effective immediately. In addition, it has suspended Michael Elgin pending further review of allegations of misconduct.”

This follows a Friday statement where Impact’s parent company Anthem Sports & Entertainment said they were reviewing all incidents.

Elgin was scheduled to compete for the company’s world title at July’s Slammiversary in a five-way intergender match featuring champion Tessa Blanchard, Eddie Edwards, Ace Austin, and Trey Miguel, while PWInsider reported that the six-man tag between Cancel Culture (Ryan, Rob Van Dam, Jacob Crist) vs. Crazzy Steve and two mystery partners has been edited off Tuesday’s edition of Impact.

Earlier Monday, it was reported that Ryan’s Bar Wrestling has been shut down as its owner was accused of sexual assault and harassment by several women over the past few days. After apologizing and attempting to explain his personal situation went over poorly on social media, Ryan deactivated his Twitter account as well as Bar Wrestling’s. Crist and Elgin have yet to comment publicly about the accusations of abusive treatment to women in the industry.
