Donald Trump has exceeded all expectations as president, Nigel Farage will tell America’s largest annual gathering of conservative activists as the ‘Bad Boys of Brexit’ return to Washington.

Mr Farage, the former Ukip leader, will use a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference (Cpac) to insist Mr Trump is delivering on his campaign promises. 

He will also tell US right-wingers that the populist “revolution” is alive and well in Europe despite the defeat of Marine Le Pen in the French presidential race. 

Mr Farage will be by Arron Banks, the ex-Ukip donor, and his ally Andy Wigmore – who together posed by a gold lift with Mr Trump in a now infamous post-election photo.
