During a recent interview with Bully Ray and Dave LaGreca, AEW Superstar Chris Jericho revealed some pretty interesting news.
As seen at the inaugural All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view, Double Or Nothing, Jericho and “Hangman” Adam Page advanced to the top contender spots for what will be the first-ever AEW World Championship match.
Bret Hart debuted the AEW World Championship during a segment on the PPV, and with his win over Kenny Omega in the “Alpha vs. Omega II” main event, Jericho moves on to face Hangman Page, who advanced to the title opportunity by winning the “Casino Battle Royale” on the Double Or Nothing “Buy-In” pre-show.
On Busted Open Radio this week, Jericho told Bully Ray and Dave when his AEW World Championship showdown with Hangman will take place.
According to Jericho, the AEW World Championship match to determine the first-ever AEW World Champion in the promotion’s history will take place when Hangman Page vs. Chris Jericho headlines the upcoming ALL OUT pay-per-view.
AEW: All Out 2019 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 31st from AllState Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Make sure to join us here at Rajah.com on 8/31 for live play-by-play results coverage of the show.
