More On Salinas Leaving TNA, LAX Breaking Up?, BFG Billboard, Video Game Sales

— As reported earlier, Shelly “Salinas” Martinez is parting ways with TNA because she asked for a pay raise to turn down a film role. TNA didn’t give in and Martinez handed in her noticed as a result. Her contract was expiring soon and she was uncertain over her future. The idea of breaking up LAX for Hernandez to go as a single has resurfaced as of late. Martinez saw that as a bad thing for her, so that also played a part in her decision to leave.
— TNA is doing a ton of local advertising in Chicago to promote next month’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view in hopes of boosting ticket sales for the show. TNA bought ads on billboards, taxi cabs, and trains throughout the Chicago area. You can see some photos of the advertisements at the following link.
— The “TNA iMPACT!” video game was #9 for Xbox 360 on the rental charts this past week as well as the #9 best seller in the U.K. In Australia, it was #3 on PlayStation 3, #2 on Xbox 360 and #4 on PlayStation 2.
