AEW ‘Double Or Nothing’ Rally Planned For Next Tuesday Just Minutes From WWE Smackdown Live

In case you missed it, 2019 kicked off with the official announcement that All Elite Wrestling, the rumored promotion backed by Jacksonville Jaguars co-owner Tony Khan, is now a reality.

With the reveal of AEW came a second major announcement in the form of an upcoming event called “Double or Nothing”, which appears to be the long-rumored sequel to The Elite’s massively successful self-funded ALL IN pay-per-view. A Double or Nothing Rally has been announced for next Tuesday, Jan. 7th to reveal more information about the event.

Interestingly, as many fans began to notice just moments after the announcement was made, the rally will be held outside of TIAA Bank Field, which is of course owned by the Khan family.

However, there’s an extra potential factor in play here, as the meet-up location — the “parking lot in front of West Club” — is virtually right across the street from the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, which will be hosting Smackdown Live shortly after the rally is set to take place. A quick Google Maps search shows that the two locations are a quick five minute walk apart from one another.

Currently the names being advertised for the rally include Cody and Brandi Rhodes, the Young Bucks, Hangman Page and all three members of SoCal Uncensored. So, essentially, The Elite without Kenny Omega, Flip Gordon and Marty Scurll.
