One of the most highly-anticipated weddings of the year—Hailey and Justin Bieber’s religious wedding celebration—finally happened earlier this week, with the couple tying the knot for the second time in a celebrity-filled ceremony in South Carolina on Monday, September 30.

The couple first said “I do” in a private ceremony at New York’s City Hall back in September 2018, but, like so many of their fellow celebrities including Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, the Biebers planned to hold a second wedding with their friends and family at a later date—which happened to be this past Monday. Of course, the wedding didn’t just involve a ceremony, it also include a rehearsal dinner and a screening of romantic movie, The Notebook, for their guests, which is sure to have put all their famous friends in a “happily ever after” frame of mind.

And while the couple’s guests—Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls and Kylie Jenner to name but a few—have shared snaps of themselves and what they wore on social media at the wedding, we’re still waiting for the bride to reveal her wedding dress and the groom his wedding suit.

However, we do have details of one very special part of the couple’s wedding look: their jewellery.

As revealed on storied jewellery house, Tiffany & Co.’s, Instagram Stories, the bride and groom opted for Tiffany & Co. jewels on their wedding day. In the Instagram Story series, the house congratulates the couple and shares a series of black and white images of the couple from their day, highlighting their Tiffany & Co. wedding bands and Hailey’s Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings.

In a press release about the jewels, further details have been unveiled, including that Hailey wore platinum five carat diamond solitaire earrings priced at approximately $123,000, and had two wedding rings—a $3,125 Tiffany Soleste band ring in 18k gold with diamonds and a $2,150 Tiffany Soleste V ring in 18k gold with diamonds. Justin’s wedding band was, according to the release, a Tiffany Classic wedding band in 18k gold with a price point of $950.

Per the release, the couple both chose yellow gold for their wedding rings to “symbolize their marriage.”

Barre Body and Bende founder, Emma Seibold, has launched a six-part start-up series that aims to help you take your idea from a seedling to a blossoming business. In this series, Seibold will share her journey, as well as the tips, tricks, and lessons she’s learnt along the way. Read on for part three, see part two here.

My university degree and professional background before starting Barre Body was in marketing, so creating a brand was my favourite part of the startup process. It’s also one of the most tangible as once you have some of the basics like a name, social media handles and a URL, your business dream really starts to take shape in your mind.

Whenever I am talking to people who are in the ideas phase of their business and they want to know where to begin, my advice is always the same. I tell people to start with a business/brand name. When I was thinking up Barre Body eight years ago, I spent quite a few days throwing different names around (Barre Body was almost Barre Yoga which feels so wrong now) and checking to see which URLs and social media handles were available. It’s a really great place start. Let’s explore some steps in creating your brand.

Choose a name
You might want to choose a name that clearly defines your business, for example if you wanted to sell custom baby bonnets, you might call your business Tiny Hats. This is pretty much what I did with Barre Body. Another popular method is to choose a word in a different language, or make up a word that embodies the vibe you are after. The name you choose will sometimes take a while to get used to. I didn’t love Barre Body at first, but I love it now.

Register a website domain name
This is also so fun and feels so good as it’s a very concrete step towards creating your business. I use both GoDaddy and Crazy Domains and you can’t really go wrong with either. It’s a good idea to check the domain name (and social media handles) before you decide on a name as you ideally want to get the .com.au for your business.

Set up your social media accounts
At the same time as choosing your name and website domain, you should check to see what social handles are available on the channels you want to use. The main focuses in Australia are Instagram and Facebook, but you might like to look at Pinterest, Twitter, SnapChat and others if you feel they will benefit your brand, product/service and audience. Choose the handles you want and then nab them before someone else does! You don’t have to start posting yet, but it’s important to secure good social media handles for your brand.

Design your logo
There are a plethora of resources for this nowadays. You can design your own logo in apps like Over and Easil, or you can opt to use a graphic designer. Find a freelancer through friends or your networks or use a website like 99Designs. You will need to be able to clearly articulate the style, colours and vibe you are after so make sure you find references of things you like to show to your designer. Step nine in this list (choose five brand words) will really help with this process.

Consider trademarking
First and foremost you should check the Australian trademark register to see if the name you want to use is already trademarked in your industry. If so, choose again; you do not want to have any legal battles in your future. It doesn’t matter how great a name you’ve chosen, it’s not worth it. If there isn’t already a trademark for your chosen name, it’s a good idea to trademark it. This will protect you against copycats and give you legal ownership over the name. It also protects you down the track if someone says that your name is too similar to their name. If you are already trademarked, that’s that. You may or may not choose to trademark your logo, but it’s wise to at least trademark your name. Registering your business name helps, but it is not the same thing as trademarking.

Set up an email account
This is another step in the brand creation process that feels so good! Imagine how you’ll feel when you have an email address and you can start sending and receiving emails from it. I use Google Suite for this as it’s very simple and easy to administer.

Choose a colour palette
Choose one to five colours that you want to use to represent your brand. There are some great websites that help you to do this like Coolors and Colourmind.

Start designing your website
I love this step in the process too. You can use a website designer or you can have a go yourself with Wix, SquareSpace or WordPress. When you start customising your website and writing your website copy, it will help to further develop your business concept as you will need to start thinking about what you might say on your webpages. Some of these pages might be: about us, services, what we do, pricing, contact us.

Choose five brand words
There are many ways to do this, but my favourite is to brainstorm a heap of words that you think describe what you want your brand to be and then cut the list down to five key brand words. It’s okay if you have less than five, but try not to have more than five, as the more words you have, the less clear your brand becomes. While this might sound like a really basic way to define a brand, it’s a very useful tool in deciding what you will and won’t do, how your brands looks and feels, what it says and how it says it. These five words are like a filter that you can put all of your communications and ideas through.

While there is a little more to creating a brand, this list is a really wonderful place to start. In part four of this series, we’ll look at how to make a plan, and everything you need to do before you launch.

The teenage talent looks set to remain at Stamford Bridge for the time being, but Bayern Munich “nearly fell in love” with the young winger

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi was the “only” player Bayern Munich wanted to sign in January, according to club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Bayern made no secret of their desire to sign Hudson-Odoi, with the 18-year-old winger reportedly frustrated by a lack of opportunities for Chelsea in the Premier League.

An Under-17 World Cup winner with England in 2017, Hudson-Odoi is very highly rated by Chelsea and they are said to have rebuffed several bids for him from Bayern.

The final offer Bayern are reported to have lodged was worth around £35 million ($46m), but Chelsea have dug their heels in regarding any deal, adamant he will not be leaving.

Maurizio Sarri said he had been assured the club would not approve a sale of Hudson-Odoi, and as such Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has been left disappointed.

Speaking at a news conference on Thursday, Rummenigge said: “The only one Hasan would have liked to buy was this player [Hudson-Odoi] from Chelsea.

“I have to say that he nearly fell in love with this player and his qualities. All the other things [stories about transfer links with other players] were rumours.

“We don’t have any demand on these positions for the second half of the season. This is a topic for the future. We’ll handle it in the next months and will decide.

“I won’t deny that they [Chelsea] didn’t like this so much [Bayern’s open pursuit of Hudson-Odoi], but don’t forget that you have to give a signal to the young player [that you want him].

“There was no personal contact with the player because this is not permitted. I think that was noticed. The player had to have a signal that Bayern is standing completely behind him.”

Rummenigge added that with the United Kingdom’s messy exit from the European Union to come, that political context could have more implication for the nation’s players.

“I think the English are just finding out that the young players like Sancho in Dortmund or Reiss Nelson in Hoffenheim certainly have qualities that you can use in your own country,” he explained.

“Now you have to wait and see how the Brexit affects English football. There are still transfers to be expected. So I think the English are more likely to try and close the door. “

And the CEO was ambiguous on the future of James Rodriguez, while making clear his admiration for the unsettled Colombian.

“Basically, this is a super player with perhaps the best left foot in the entire Bundesliga. He proved that, especially in the last year in the second half of the season under Jupp Heynckes. We all wish James regularly on the pitch, but that’s what the coach has to decide whom to trust,” Rummenigge said.

“I have to say honestly, I really like the player. We all know in the club what he has for qualities. However, at the end of the day it is also important that this is the best decision for him and for us. As stated, I come out as a big fan of James.”

Earlier on Thursday, the club chief had revealed that with their interest in Hudson-Odoi thwarted, Bayern would not be making any further moves in the January window.

“I spoke to Hasan [Salihamidzic] at 15.30, to ask if we will do anything. He answered ‘no’,” he stated.

“Even without Hudson-Odoi we now have five wingers, so we can get through to the end of the season.”

The Serie A leaders dropped points at the death after blowing a comfortable lead and their coach was not impressed

Massimiliano Allegri was left fuming after Juventus surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Parma on Saturday.

Gervinho struck deep into stoppage time to complete the turnaround, his double and Antonino Barilla’s goal cancelling out Cristiano Ronaldo’s double and one from Daniele Rugani.

The result saw Juve’s lead at the top of Serie A cut to nine points, capping a disappointing week in which Allegri’s men also were beaten 3-0 by Atalanta in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.

And the head coach lamented the fact his team failed to get the basics right in order to see the game out, with Mario Mandzukic guilty of taking liberties in a risky area at the death.

“It was the first time this back four had played together and we didn’t help the centre-backs, always leaving them in one-on-one situations,” Allegri told DAZN.

“They need to realise there is no shame in hoofing the ball into the stands if needs be.

“At least we gave those who complained we weren’t entertaining enough something to enjoy.

“Beautiful football doesn’t [always] pay off, at the end of the day you’ve got to just kick it away from your goal.

“We lowered our guard after going 3-1 up and then again on the final ball for the equaliser. You cannot play with that attitude in the 93rd minute with the ball at the corner flag.

“It was conceptually the wrong thing to try to keep that in play. Just kick it out.”

It’s been a frustrating week for Allegri, who was sent off against Atalanta after a heated exchange with the fourth official.

The Juventus coach admitted he deserved to be sent to the stands but adamant the loss itself shouldn’t have fans worried.

“It’s disappointing for us to go out, but it was mad to think Juventus could’ve won every single match this season,” he told Rai Sport.

“We really gave some goals away tonight.

“I don’t see it as any alarm bell to be worried about, because it is impossible to win every game.”

In the days that followed Hailey Bieber’s wild bachelorette party, hosted by best friend Kendall Jenner in Los Angeles, the model welcomed friends and family to Montage Hotel’s Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina for a rehearsal dinner before wedding Justin Bieber (again) at Somerset Chapel on September 30.

Prior to the dinner, which took place on September 29, the Daily Mail reports Katy Perry and Kendall Jenner flew to Georgia on Scooter Braun’s private jet. While Kylie Jenner did not join the pair, she has since taken to Instagram with an image alongside momager Kris Jenner in a private jet of her own, and we have no doubt the 22-year-old reality star is heading to her friend’s nuptials.

E! News reports that a source has confirmed “Hailey and Justin wanted the party to be a casual get together to celebrate everyone together under one roof” and “the attire was casual chic.”

For the pre-wedding occasion, the bride opted for a custom-made dress from one of Vivienne Westwood’s couture collections, which she paired with matching Jimmy Choo heels. The off-the-shoulder design, which was created in the token bridal hue of white, featured a rather short hemline and a v-neckline.

“Guests arrived by boat to the rehearsal dinner on the Palmetto property. There were several water taxis that took guests over around 6:30 pm,” a source told E! News of the celebration. “The dinner was on the edge of the water. There were many string lights hanging and lit candles. The dècor was very chic and white.”

According to the publication, the likes of Joan Smalls, Karla Welch, Justine Skye, Kenny Hamilton and numerous family members were also in attendance, and celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss “removed all of the existing furniture and refurnished the whole place with her items” for the event.

“After the rehearsal/welcome party ended, the guests were shuttled back via water shuttle to the Montage in Palmetto Bluffs where they had an after-hours party,” an alternate source told E! News. “The party was in the bowling and game room.”

“Everyone was bowling and taking advantage of the games and was having a really fun time. The night went pretty late,” the insider continued. Jenner has since taken to Instagram Stories with a short video of herself bowling a strike in a strapless yellow and white dress.

Following the after-party, E! News reports the bride and groom also hosted a late night screening of The Notebook, capping off what we have no doubt was an affair to remember.

“I actually looked at them today,” says Silje Lorentzen of the candid polaroids she sent her mother-agency Team Models four years ago, “it was so funny.” Now she’s backstage at Givenchy: not just walking in her first ever show, but opening Clare Waight Keller’s spring/summer 2020 collection, and leading the finale. “I still have to pinch myself,” says the 23-year-old Norwegian model, “I feel very lucky to be here.”

Working with renowned casting director Piergiorgio Del Moro – who was also behind the line-up at Versace, Victoria Beckham, Tom Ford and Michael Kors this season – Waight Keller singled out Lorentzen straight away.

“She has this very raw beauty,” the artistic director tells backstage at her Paris Fashion Week show. “The thing that really caught my eye was this idea of absolute purity in her face. The fact that she has these sort of slight freckly cheeks, this freshness: very modern, quite intellectual. But at the same time, just a sophistication to the way she looks.”

Del Moro remembers seeing Lorentzen on the first day of pre-castings and thinking she would be great for the French maison. “Without saying anything, when she came into the room, [Clare] immediately said her face was incredible: ‘She looks like an actress!’,” he recalls. “[Clare] is fascinated by faces where you can see confidence and maturity at the same time. She knows what she likes, so it is very clear what I have to deliver.”

Givenchy’s spring/summer 2020 woman is “fresh, raw and she’s quite a tomboy,” explains Waight Keller. Note the crisp tailoring, upcycled Nineties denim, hothouse florals, scarf necklines and balloon sleeves on the runway.

Represented by MP Management in Paris and Team Models in Norway, Lorentzen is as surprising as she is striking. Originally from Tønsberg in southern Norway, the former professional show jumper and pre-med student (who once planned on a future in plastic surgery) now lives in Oslo, where she is pursuing modelling full time.

The necessary qualities to succeed in today’s industry? “Confidence, persistence and caring about what you do,” says Del Moro. “You can be the most beautiful woman, but if you don’t care about what you’re doing, you’re not listening, growing and evolving your career, you probably won’t go anywhere.”

With Givenchy under her belt, it is safe to say Lorentzen will go far.

The Reds could lose the lead in the title race on Wednesday after another insipid draw at West Ham

London called, but Liverpool were unable to answer.

Grey shirted, the Premier League leaders produced a performance to match the East London sky. This, their second draw in the space of five days, raises serious questions as to whether they can sustain their title challenge amid growing pressure from both Manchester City and Tottenham.

They will surrender top spot if City can win at Everton on Wednesday. Here, against a West Ham side wounded by recent setbacks, they looked like a team burdened by the situation they find themselves in. Pressure, it seems, can do strange things to a football team.

An easy assumption? Perhaps, but how else to explain the way the Reds’ basics have deserted them of late. They got to the top through solidity, security and composure, but it has been lacking since the turn of the year.

Here at the London Stadium, they were unable to take advantage of a helping hand from an assistant referee, who allowed Sadio Mane’s opener to stand despite James Milner being offside in the build-up. West Ham, who had been the better side to that point, levelled through Michail Antonio within six minutes, with the kind of goal that title hopefuls simply shouldn’t be conceding.

The sloppiness was everywhere. It was there in the way both Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino, under little pressure, ceded possession on the Liverpool left, and in the way Fabinho, eager to help, shipped a cheap free kick. Just as against Leicester last week, Liverpool were punished for it.

From there, West Ham worked the ball admirably, Felipe Anderson rolling a disguised pass down the side of the visitors’ wall for Antonio, who was too strong for Keita and who finished accurately off the far post. Impressive from the Hammers, appalling from Liverpool.

A worrying trend. Jurgen Klopp’s side conceded just seven goals in their opening 19 league fixtures, but have shipped eight in the last six, keeping just one clean sheet.

Injuries are catching up with the Merseysiders. Here, they were without two of their main midfield men, with Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson sidelined. Dejan Lovren, too, was absent.

“Minor issues,” say the club. There is no such thing in this situation. Liverpool headed into the game with Adam Lallana making his first start of any kind since November and with two teenagers, Rafa Camacho and Curtis Jones, on the bench. The decision to loan out Nathaniel Clyne early in January looks more of an error with each passing game.

James Milner, who will give whatever he has, whenever he is asked, was tormented by the pacy, skilful Anderson as he again filled in at right-back here, having overcome a bout of illness over the weekend. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s return should ease matters, but news of a setback for Joe Gomez in his recovery from a fractured leg is far from welcome. Liverpool need bodies, and they are losing them at the moment.

They lacked quality here, unable to muster too much by way of clear-cut chances and far too sloppy with their passing, particularly in the first half. Roberto Firmino had a nightmare, Naby Keita fused promise with alarming carelessness in possession. Mo Salah and Sadio Mane tried, but were unable to work the miracles required. Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi were summoned from the bench, Daniel Sturridge was not.

And so the baton is passed to City, with Liverpool asking for a favour from their neighbours at Goodison Park in 48 hours’ time. They should have been seven points clear last Wednesday; a week later they could find themselves wondering where their lead went.

Improvement is needed, and fast. Liverpool remain in the driving seat, but the road is getting more and more treacherous by the day.

The club may have slumped to a disappointing home defeat against Bologna on Sunday, but the manager insists the squad are united

Luciano Spalletti insists he retains the full support of his Inter squad despite the Nerazzurri slipping to a shock 1-0 defeat to Bologna in Serie A.

For the third successive league match Inter failed to score, let alone win, as Federico Santander gave Sinisa Mihajlovic victory on his return to Bologna.

The pressure is growing on Spalletti and he was jeered by sections of the San Siro crowd during Sunday’s game, though he is adamant he can rectify the situation.

“The team is with me and as far as I’m concerned, I don’t have any issues there,” he said.

“We created problems for ourselves today. Even when we should’ve been comfortable or were in a position to score.

“You then lose confidence in your own ability and if the level of insecurity grows, you start to make mistakes, while the opposition can score.

“It takes a strong character to react, and we must improve on this.

“Every time we fall beneath the standards that we’ve set, we even make the most basic of errors.

“The football wasn’t fluid but we still had three clear chances to take the lead. At times, one chance would’ve been enough but we didn’t manage to score and then you start trying to force it too much.”

And when asked about the reaction from some of the home support, Spalletti was not too concerned, insisting the paying public were perfectly within their rights to express their opinions.

“Whistles don’t change anything in my attitude,” he added. “The fans deserve better, because this is Inter.

“Serious responses are needed with what we do on the pitch and how we think.”

“Not doing enough research! The promise of an item on sale can be alluring enough to make us buy without shopping around for a better deal. I always try to crosscheck at least five-to-10 websites selling the same product before adding to cart. The only thing worse than buying something on sale is finding out you could have bought it for even less.” — Jen Nurick, fashion features assistant

“Converting sizing. It’s best to know your measurements, either have a tape measure handy or write them down so you can always double check sizing as most brands are different.” — Rebecca Shalala, style content editor

“A lot of friends tell me they don’t shop online because they’re scared the item won’t fit. Most sites have a decent returns policy, and if you stick to bricks and mortar you’re missing out on competitive prices and amazing labels. Accessories are always a safe bet too for sizing!” — Alice Birrell, fashion features director

“Photos can be deceiving. Always read the fabric composition—fabrics can appear luxe in a photo that are actually very cheap and nasty to touch. And remember that clothing is made to be worn in real life rather than on Instagram. It may look chic in that still photo but is it a nightmare to walk/stand/sit in? We’re humans, not mannequins.” — Julia Frank, digital editorial director

“Going into a sale or a shopping event like VOSN and not having an idea of the key pieces you actually want or need is basically a sin. A well-consulted wish list based on what your wardrobe actually needs is a must.” — Danielle Gay, digital editor

“Not paying attention to the fabrication of the garment, it makes a big difference in the way the garment fits and falls on your body. Always try to opt for natural fibres as well.” — Philippa Moroney, fashion editor and market director

“Check the returns policy of the website especially if it’s on sale. Some websites don’t return sale items, so make sure you know that you can return it if you need to before clicking the checkout key. Or, if you are going to buy sale pieces online, try to stick to brands that you already own so you know which size to buy.” — Lucie Clark, associate digital editor

“If you don’t love it as much once you receive it, return it. Having it sit in your wardrobe for weeks won’t change your mind, it will just never be used/worn.” — Dijana Maddison, deputy art director

“Not taking note of the product’s description. Make sure you know what you’re signing up for before adding to your cart. Also, I’m finally getting into the habit of refining my search in order to avoid scrolling through 20 pages before giving up altogether. Hallelujah!” — Angelica Xidias, associate digital editor

“Buying an item of clothing that does not suit your style/wardrobe. Countless times I have seen an amazing piece that I will tell myself I will wear but it ends up sitting in my wardrobe, seldom worn (cream embellished jacket with mohair fringing, I am talking about you).” — Kaila Matthews, market editor
