IWGP Intercontinental Champion, Chris Jericho spoke with the legendary Larry King about a range of topics, including The Rock running for President. On The Rock possibly running for U.S. President:

“Absolutely. We live in a world now, I call it ‘The era of the celebrity President’. Started with Obama a little bit, and now with Trump. No previous experience, knows how to work a camera, knows how to be charismatic. That’s what you need to be the President now. We’ve already established that. You don’t have to be a Governor. You don’t even have to be a Senator.”

On John Cena’s acting:

“You talk about Cena, you talk about Batista, Rock or Chris Jericho, we all have that Vince McMahon work ethic. And the other thing is, there are no Prima Donnas in the WWE. You’re expected to do your job, you’re expected to do the press. You’re expected to do whatever it takes to represent the company, and represent yourself. So whenever guys like us come into Hollywood, a guy like John, work ethic-through the roof. Attitude-amazing. Press-‘What do you want me to do? What else can I do to promote this?’ It’s like a dream, a dream performer for the people out here.”

On if Vince McMahon knew him prior to signing for WWE:

“I’m not sure he did. One thing about Vince is like, I always say that it doesn’t matter what you’ve done outside of those walls. Until you walk into a WWE ring and Vince sees you with his own two eyes, I don’t think it matters what you had done. I think his people had told him about Chris Jericho, and he might have seen a few things. But I don’t think he really knew who I was, or what I was, or what I could do, or what I potentially could do until I got there. And as good as I was after 9 years (of wrestling in other promotions), getting into the Vince world was a completely different thing.”

After months of anticipation, teases, and investigation, the attacker of Aleister Black has been revealed during tonight’s WWE NXT tapings. *Warning, spoilers are ahead.*

WWE has been taping the final TV episodes of NXT prior to NXT Takeover War Games and finally, the Aleister Black’s attacker has been revealed and a major heel turn has taken place at the same time. Several people have been under investigation for the attack from Kassius Ohno to the Street Profits, but the major culprits ended up being Tommaso Ciampa and Velveteen Dream, but in a major twist, it ended up being neither man.

According to PWInsider.com, the culprit is none other than Johnny Gargano! During the taping, NXT GM, William Regal was set to reveal Tommaso Ciampa’s War Games opponent which led to Velveteen Dream, Lars Sullivan and Aleister Black head to the ring, until the former NXT Champion was attacked by Gargano.

Gargano then ran away whilst Black demanded to know where he was as it was made clear that Gargano was the man who attacked Black. It seems set now that Gargano will turn heel, something that has been teased lately with fans providing 50/50 chants towards him.

It also seems likely that Aleister Black will face Johnny Gargano at War Games, but that hasn’t been confirmed at this stage.

WWE’s partnership with the Make A Wish charity has continued this weekend, with the company awarding Stephanie McMahon an award.

The charity awarded her the first-ever Wish Spirit Award, which Stephanie stated she was honored to receive and that it goes to all the Wish kids and their families, thanking everyone who helps them make their wishes come true.

Natalya Heads To UK

The WWE roster is currently set for its upcoming tour of the UK and Natalya shared an image of her and Titus O’Neil on the plane ready for the trip to Manchester for WWE Raw.

Ember Moon Has Game Of Thrones Wedding

WWE Superstar, Ember Moon and Matthew Palmer got married this weekend and they did so with a Game Of Thrones style wedding which featured full costumes and character, as you can see in the photos below.

Former NXT Women’s Champion Asuka has been announced for a rare signing. The current SmackDown Live Superstar will be signing autographs at Wintercon on Dec. 1st. The annual pop culture convention is scheduled for Dec. 1st-2nd at Resorts World Casino in Jamaica Queens, NY.

WWE has officially confirmed 9 new Superstars for the upcoming 30-Woman Royal Rumble match set to take place next Sunday in Phoenix, AZ.

In addition to the 12 previously announced names for the annual January classic, you can now add Charlotte Flair, Naomi, Tamina Snuka, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay of The IIconics, Dana Brooke, Lana, Nia Jax and Nikki Cross to the Rumble. Each competitor was revealed this afternoon via WWE’s official Twitter account.

Already confirmed for the match is Natalya, Bayley, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Mickie James and Alicia Fox from the RAW brand, and Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Zelina Vega and Carmella from Smackdown Live. Carmella will of course enter the Rumble from the coveted #30 position, following her and R-Truth’s victory in the WWE Mixed Match Challenge.

With 21 names now official, WWE has essentially announced every single member of the main roster that is currently medically cleared to compete. The rest of the field will likely be made up of returning legends and surprise call-ups from the NXT brand.
