– We noted late last year how former World Heavyweight Champion Vader took to Twitter and announced that he was suffering from congestive heart failure and that several doctors told him he had two years to live. He later revealed that a 4th doctor informed him how the “gloom and doom” diagnosis from the previous doctors may not be the case. Vader then began working out with Diamond Dallas Page in January of this year.

The former WCW United States Champion took to Twitter on Valentine’s Day and noted that he was entering into his “final days” and was grateful for the time he had. He wrote, “As I enter my final days, proud of the Father Son Brother Football player Pro WrestlerThe Super Heavy Big Man Goat Im Grateful for the Time”

That tweet has since been deleted.

Attacks on bases hosting US-led coalition forces by Iranian-armed militias are heading towards a red line for the coalition, who would respond with such force that “no one would like the outcome,” a senior US official warned on Wednesday.

Just hours later a further two rockets hit near the military section of Baghdad airport.

The attack is the tenth of its type since October, targeting joint US-Iraqi military facilities that host forces from the US-led coalition to defeat Isil.

Speaking to Reuters on the condition of anonymity, the US official reportedly said that while there were no claims of responsibility for the attacks, intelligence and forensic analyses indicated Iranian-backed Shi’ite Muslim militia groups are behind them.

The Iraqi paramilitary groups and the US are trading blame on the series of attacks.

“We’re waiting for full evidence…If past is prologue, I’d say there’s a good chance it was Iran that’s behind it,” David Schenker, the US Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs, told reporters last Friday. Two further attacks have happened since.

The rocket attacks come amid US accusations that Iran has capitalised on the continued unrest in Iraq to secretly move short-range ballistic missiles into the country.

The Trump administration hit Iran with fresh sanctions on Wednesday in an effort to intensify their “maximum pressure” campaign against Tehran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programmes.

The sanctions target several transportation firms in the Islamic Republic, including the state-shipping line, as well as a China-based company that has been involved in delivering missile parts to Iran.

Piling economic sanctions and ramped up rhetoric have been a pillar of the “maximum pressure” campaign since Trump pulled out of the nuclear deal with Iran in May 2018.

Iran has since taken several major steps away from the deal amid fears of a war with the US, further exacerbating tensions.

An attack on Monday saw four Katyusha rockets hit a base near Baghdad airport, wounding five members of Iraq’s elite Counter-Terrorism Service. A larger 240-millimetre rocket was used in a similar attack near the airport on Friday, which is thought to have not been used in Iraq since 2011.

Donald Trump has backed down on his plans to designate Mexican drug cartels as terror groups, saying he was doing so at the request of the Mexican President, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

Last month, Mr Trump had called for a "war" on the cartels after the killings of nine women and children from a US-Mexican Mormon community.

The Mexican government had said they strongly opposed the move and insisted they wanted to stem the flow of weapons and money from the US to criminal gangs in Mexico.

Marcelo Ebrard, Mexico’s foreign minister, had reacted angrily to the US president’s plans and said that Mexico "will never allow any action that means a violation of its national sovereignty."

On Friday night, Mr Ebrard welcomed Mr Trump’s change of heart. "I’m thankful for President Donald Trump’s decision to delay the designation of organisations as terrorists at the request of President Lopez Obrador," he said in a tweet. "Cooperation has won and there will be good results."

Mr Trump claimed on Friday that "all necessary work has been completed to declare Mexican Cartels terrorist organisations," but said he was putting the move on hold out of respect for Mr Lopez Obrador.

"We will temporarily hold off this designation and step up our joint efforts to deal decisively with these vicious and ever-growing organisations!" the president tweeted.

Mr Trump said that Lopez Obrador was a "man who I like and respect, and has worked so well with us."

The Mormon killings has cast a spotlight on drug cartel-fueled violence in Mexico and the government’s struggles to  prevent it. Mr Lopez Obrador came to power last year on a platform to end the heavy death toll caused by the cartels.

The victims, including twin eight-month-old babies, were killed as they drove on a remote road between the states of Sonora and Chihuahua, in northern Mexico, a region disputed by warring drug cartels.

Pirelli says “challenging operating conditions” coupled with “the biggest forces ever seen on tyres” caused the successive tyre failures that marred the end of last weekend’s British Grand Prix.

Mercedes was cruising towards a dominant 1-2 when second-placed man Valtteri Bottas suffered a left-front tyre failure just a handful of laps from the checkered flag.

Click Here: Cheap France Rugby Jersey

The incident was followed by a second deflation of the same left-front tyre on Carlos Sainz’s McLaren.

Meanwhile, race leader Lewis Hamilton was ordered to manage his rubber in the final two laps of the event, but the reigning world champion’s caution could not prevent another tyre delamination occurring once again on the left-front corner of the Mercedes.

Onboard footage shows Kvyat crash caused by puncture

Pirelli immediately initiated an investigation into the failures which many believes were rooted in debris. But F1’s tyre supplier has identified meximu stress as the culprit for the multiple ruptures.

“Pirelli has concluded its initial analysis on a number of tyres that were run at the British Grand Prix last weekend,” said the company in a statement released on Tuesday.

“This allowed to identify the cause of the failures followed by deflations that affected both Mercedes and the McLaren of Carlos Sainz.

“The key reason is down to a set of individual race circumstances that led to an extremely long use of the second set of tyres.

“The second safety car period prompted nearly all the teams to anticipate their planned pit stop and so carry out a particularly long final stint: around 40 laps, which is more than three-quarters the total race length on one of the most demanding tracks of the calendar.

©McLaren

“Combined with the notably increased pace of the 2020 Formula 1 cars (pole position was 1.2 seconds faster compared to 2019) this made the final laps of the British Grand Prix especially tough, as a consequence of the biggest forces ever seen on tyres generated by the fastest Formula 1 cars in history.

“The overall result was the most challenging operating conditions for tyres. These led to the front-left tyre (which is well-known for working hardest at Silverstone) being placed under maximum stress after a very high number of laps, with the resulting high wear meaning that it was less protected from the extreme forces in play.”

Pirelli’s original plan of providing a sifter tyre selection to teams next weekend remains unchanged, although “usage prescription” shall be tweaked.

“For the second race at Silverstone this weekend, Pirelli confirms the nominated compounds: C2, C3, and C4, being one step softer than those seen at the last GP.

“Also the usage prescription will be reviewed, increasing the minimum tyre pressures to reduce the stress on the construction.”
