There was a lot of controversy surrounding Tessa Blanchard over the weekend, as several female wrestlers called her out for using a racial slur and bullying. That didn’t stop her from winning the Impact World title at last night’s Hard to Kill event, however. In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Impact knew what they were getting with Tessa when they initially signed her.
There had been rumors at the time that she was difficult to work with or had an attitude issue. According to Meltzer, everyone in Impact knew about the stories and her history, but this left her easy to sign from the independents. He added that WWE didn’t sign her to a developmental deal because of “attitude issues,” which followed her appearance in the 2018 Mae Young Classic.
It was also noted that Impact EVPs Don Callis and Scott D’Amore do not plan on letting her past affect Impact’s business. This of course was proven last night, when they went ahead with giving her their top title.Click Here: brisbane broncos shirt

Bobby Lashley did an interview with Gary Cassidy where he explained why he’s willing to put up with all of the nonsense storylines WWE has been giving him since he’s been back. His reasoning: A match with Brock Lesnar.
Lashley: “[Match with Brock Lesnar] is the only reason I came back [to WWE] so everything that I’m doing around it, I don’t even know why I’m doing.
I’m just doing whatever I need to do to get to that match – whether it’s singing, bringing my sisters on or playing that nonsense.
They’ve held me back this long and I don’t know if it’s a point of paying dues here. I don’t care what it is, I’m going to get that match.”Click Here: cheap adidas men shoes

In a video posted on Instagram, former WWE champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson discussed the passing of his father Rocky Johnson who died last week at the age of 75.
Johnson said that his dad had not been feeling well and was battling a cold and infection and on Tuesday he was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis, a blood clot in the leg. “It was a big ol’ blood clot that broke free, traveled up his body, and went right to his lung, clotted his lung, and he died very quickly from a massive heart attack, just like that.”
The Rock added that due to his quick death he didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to him. “I’d give anything right now to give him a big ol’ hug and a big ol’ kiss before he crossed over and just say thank you and I love you and I respect you. But I didn’t get a chance to say that. But such is life, as many of you know, based on the messages that you have shared with me, that many of you understand this pain when you lose a parent,” he said.
The funeral of Rocky Johnson will be held today and his son will be delivering the eulogy. “I’ve written a lot of speeches for myself over the years, but I have no idea where to start with this one,” Johnson said. “But I do have my tequila and I can hear him now, ‘Good, that’s the way you’ve got to do it.’ I can also hear him now, ‘Make sure you put me over in the speech, say good stuff about me.’”Click Here: Nigeria soccer tracksuit

Impact Wrestling talent Moose spoke to reporters during a recent Hard to Kill media event (via WrestlingInc.com). Below are some highlights.
Moose on his evolution in Impact Wrestling: “When I first started with Impact, I was comfortable with what I was doing before. It was easy and it got to a point where I talked to some of my mentors and they told me if I wanted to take that next step then this is what I needed to do. I have so much more to give to pro wrestling that the old Moose wasn’t doing. My new attitude just shows how much charisma I have. I get to talk a bit more on the mic and it shows my presence in the ring and my swag. So I felt like it was the right move for me to make to grow as a professional wrestler.”
Moose on how he wants to be more than just a ‘tough guy’: “I think me, Quinn Ojinnaka which is my real name, is a really fun guy to be around. I’m a fun guy like Kawhi Leonard says. People like to be around me and I’m charismatic. I felt like when I first got to Impact I was trying to be this tough guy and I’ll kick your ass. I feel like wrestling in 2020, everybody is a tough guy. One thing I’ve been doing lately is going to the archives and watching old wrestling from 1990-92 and there wasn’t a lot of tough guys. There were a lot more characters and there’s not a lot of character-driven guys in wrestling in 2020. That’s one thing I told myself – I don’t wanna be a tough guy anymore. I don’t wanna be an ass-kicker or a, ‘Oh look at me, I’ll powerbomb you.’ I don’t wanna be that guy. I wanna show personality and be fun and show swagger. That’s pretty much what my whole evolution was.”
Moose on his goals for 2020: “Every time I step into the ring I want to be better than the last time I was out there. That’s my mindset right now. I know there’s guys that will go, ‘Oh, I wanna be champion this year.’ I don’t like making those kinda goals because I feel that if you’re the world champion and a crappy, sh*tty wrestler, then what does that do? Every time I go out there I wanna be a better wrestler and performer in the ring than I was prior. So, that’s always my goal.”

Friday Night Smackdown on FOX yesterday did 2,423,000 viewers, off hours 2,529,000 and 2,318,000. That is down 46,000 viewers from last week’s show. Smackdown tied #1 in the 18-49 demographic chart with CBS’ Magnum P.I. and Hawaii Five-O, getting a 0.7 rating. Smackdown only beat The CW programming and ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat in terms of total viewership and trailed everything else.
