Natalya and Alexa Bliss have traveled to Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown, with Pro Wrestling Sheet reporting that they were flown to Saudi Arabia with the hopes that a women’s match will be approved by Friday’s event. Pro Wrestling Sheet noted that WWE officials have been going back and forth with the Saudi General Sports Authority and trying to get a potential women’s match approved for a few months. Renee Young also again made the trip to Saudi Arabia.
Sami Zayn is again partnering with the Syrian American Medical Society to launch a mobile clinic in Syria for those in need of medical aid. Their fundraiser starts at 2 p.m. Eastern time this Friday, which is the same time as the Super ShowDown main card begins.
Mick Foley will fly anywhere in the United States or Canada to meet people who donate $5,000 to Ashley Massaro’s daughter’s educational fund. He’ll travel anywhere in the world for a $10,000 donation.

In his first match for NJPW, Jon Moxley won the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship by defeating Juice Robinson at the Best of the Super Juniors finals this morning. Moxley used an elevated double-arm DDT to win the match.
NJPW posted video of Moxley’s entrance, with him entering through the crowd for his match.
Will Ospreay, who announced that he’s moving to Japan, tweeted after defeating Shingo Takagi in the Best of the Super Juniors finals: “Thank you for your support & love. Thank You for the fight Shingo, pushed me to my limits. Thank You to the NJPW office for helping me with getting my new place in Japan, I cant wait & I’ll do my to not let you down. 2x Best Of The Super Juniors. And I’m only getting started!!”
Takagi said he wants a singles match against a heavyweight opponent at Dominion.
7,650 people was the attendance for the BOSJ finals at Sumo Hall.
NJPW’s post-Best of the Super Juniors press conference will air at 2 a.m. Eastern time overnight tonight.

Meiko Satomura will challenge for the PROGRESS Women’s Championship at PROGRESS Wrestling’s “Still Chasing” show at Alexandra Palace in London on September 15. Jordynne Grace currently holds the title.

Nick Gage will defend his GCW World Championship against Marko Stunt in Nashville, Tennessee on July 21.

ESPN’s Marc Raimondi tweeted about rumors of Henry Cejudo being injured: “Henry Cejudo says he’s not injured despite the report. He said he knocked his knee in the training room and it hurt. But no structural injury and he’s not out of the fight.”
The UFC uploaded episodes one and two of Embedded for UFC 238. Cejudo vs. Marlon Moraes for the bantamweight title, Valentina Shevchenko vs. Jessica Eye for the women’s flyweight title, and Tony Ferguson vs. Donald Cerrone are the top three fights on the show.
Ali Abdel-Aziz, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, claimed that Nurmagomedov is now the highest-paid athlete in the UFC with the new multi-fight contract he’s signed.
Dana White said he could “absolutely” see a rematch between Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor happening at some point.
Nate Diaz told Ariel Helwani that he isn’t interested in a third fight against McGregor: “I’m not interested in it at all. I’m interested in winners. He lost his last fight, and I won my last fight. You think I’m trying to fight someone who just got his ass beat all over the place? I’m a black belt in jiu-jitsu. That sh*t wouldn’t happen to me.”
The prelims for Saturday’s UFC show in Stockholm, which began airing in the morning, averaged 257,000 viewers on ESPN2.
