Latest on Edge Returning Tonight During the Men's WWE Royal Rumble Match

— On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Adam Copeland, popularly known as “Edge” in WWE is likely a surprise entrant in the men’s Royal Rumble and that he’s been led to believe and “hinted” that this will be happening tonight at the PPV. This has been rumored for months, with Mike Johnson of pwinsider.com not only reporting it, but doubling down when Edge went on record to deny the reports.

— If Edge does indeed return tonight, the assumption would be that he’s likely going to be wrestling in a few months at WrestleMania and Johnson has also noted that the Hall of Fame has not only been cleared to return to wrestle, but that he’s signed a new contract with WWE as well.
