Prince George Plays on a Swing in His Brand-New Birthday Portraits

They grow up so fast! In honor of Prince George’s third birthday today, the royal family released an adorable new set of photos of the little guy at his idyllic family home in Norfolk, England.
The four snapshots show Kate Middleton and Prince William’s first-born child enjoying a beautiful summer day in two too-cute outfits. During the shoot—taken earlier this month by British photographer Matt Porteous—George changes from a navy and beige striped sweater with a whale on its chest and khaki shorts (above), into a short-sleeved blue and white T-shirt and denim shorts:

At some point, the little prince loses his shoes and goes barefoot for a turn on a wooden swing, which features an engraving of his parents’ names, “William & Catherine.”
