ROH Announcer Signs New Multi-Year Deal, Comments On Decision To Stay
November 20, 2020 | News | No Comments
It looks like one of the voices of Ring Of Honor (ROH) television, play-by-play announcer Ian Riccaboni, will be sticking around for a while.
Riccaboni’s contract was reportedly nearing a window that would have allowed him to negotiate with other promotions. Despite this fact, Riccaboni decided to re-sign with the company he has spent five years working for.
“[ROH] means the world to me; the wrestlers, the crew, and the fans,” wrote Riccaoni in a tweet posted on Thursday evening announcing that he had re-signed with the promotion. “We’re a family.”
Riccaboni continued, “I approached our office and producers about staying. They shared the same sentiment. I am excited to announce that I signed a mult-year deal to stay with ROH. Happy wrestling, indeed!”
