Cageside Seats writer Cain A. Knight recently penned an article that elicited a response from Rusev over his lack of success on pay-per-view shows.
Knight pointed out that The Bulgarian Brute is now 2-18 in his 20 pay-per-view appearances. He has not won a pay-per-view match since defeating Big Cass on the preshow of Roadblock: End of the Line in 2016. His only other victory came on the main card of Battleground 2016, when he defeated Zack Ryder. Digging deeper, Rusev’s last four appearances on pay-per-view shows have all been on the preshow. He has not made a mina card in the past six months. His last main card appearance was a loss to AJ Styles in a challenge for the WWE Championship at the 2018 Extreme Rules.
Here is a rundown of his appearances (courtesy of Cageside Seats):

Maybe if he starts backstabbing people, speaking the truth when it hurts & becomes an opportunist like Becky Lynch became he will win next year’s Royal Rumble & main event Wrestlemania ! ?? https://t.co/nGhxabAIMK
