New episodes of Straight Up Steve Austin are coming to the USA Network this summer.

USA Network announced today that Straight Up Steve Austin has been renewed for season two. It was noted that the new season will feature eight half-hour episodes and is expected to premiere in the summer.

The first season of Straight Up Steve Austin debuted in August 2019. Aside from its two-night season finale that concluded on a Tuesday, the show aired after Raw on Mondays.

USA Network describes the show as: “In every episode, Steve and a celebrity guest get real, heading out to different cities across America to take part in one-of-a-kind adventures, while swapping stories about their lives and careers. It’s a unique twist on the standard interview show, with no studio, no couch and no cue cards — just a straight up good time and good old-fashioned American fun.” They also hyped that Straight Up Steve Austin “was 2019’s #1 new unscripted cable series for Men 18-49 and Men 25-54.”

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch appeared as one of the guests on the first season of the show. Rob Riggle, Sal Vulcano, Baker Mayfield, Gabriel Iglesias, Trace Adkins, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were the other guests on season one.

Guests for season two have yet to be announced.

Austin also hosts his Broken Skull Sessions interview series on the WWE Network. A new episode will debut after NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II on Sunday, with Kane appearing as Austin’s guest.
