Overnight ratings are in for last night’s SmackDown on FOX. The go-home show for Elimination Chamber was down nearly 10 percent in total viewers, averaging 2.453 million viewers.
Hour one averaged a strong 2.579 million viewers, but the show dropped off 10 percent for the second hour, which averaged 2.326 million. That portion of the show was mainly the tag team gauntlet match that featured the teams that will be competing in the SmackDown Tag Team title Elimination Chamber match on Sunday.
Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode won the gauntlet match and will be the final team to enter the Elimination Chamber in Sunday’s title match.
SmackDown did a 0.7 in the 18-49 demo, tied for its lowest number of 2020. It averaged a 0.4 rating in 18-34, matching the lowest number in that category since the move to FOX in October.
SmackDown tied with several other shows for the top rank in 18-34 but trailed ABC’s Shark Tank in 18-49, which did a 0.8.
In terms of total viewers, SmackDown was well behind every other show on the major networks.
